Frederick Credno directs Zephyr Aviation as its founder, president, and CEO, overseeing global aircraft charter, sales, leasing, and management services. At Zephyr Aviation, Frederick Credno guides work for public sector customers, NCAA athletic departments, and commercial charter clients.
Mr. Credno began his aviation career as a flight instructor before serving as a first officer and captain based in New York. He later became director of operations and chief pilot for a multinational corporation, flying international assignments in Lockheed and Rockwell aircraft. His career includes more than 26,000 flight hours across multiple aircraft types.
In the 1980s, Mr. Credno founded Jet Management Group, building its worldwide air carrier operations into a company with $100 million in annual revenue. He subsequently developed Capital Aviation and its related air operators, supporting government charter assignments and other aviation services. He also co-founded Orange Air and led its certification process for MD-83 operations.
Mr. Credno’s work has included charter missions for US government agencies, international government customers, United Nations operations, university athletic programs, and corporate travelers. He has a bachelor’s degree in aviation management from Middle Tennessee State University and maintains affiliations with the National Business Aviation Association and National Air Transportation Association.
